Overview

We invite your comments and views on the draft Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).

We are now seeking input on our LCWIP, outlining proposed initiatives to enhance the safety and convenience of walking, wheeling, or cycling. This initiative aims to encourage residents and visitors to consider more active modes of transportation.

Background

There is a national ambition to promote cycling and walking for shorter journeys. Expanding non-motorized transportation options contributes to reducing traffic, alleviating congestion, enhancing air quality, and improving overall physical and mental health. Additionally, it increases access to education and employment opportunities.
