Invitation for Public Comment on Referral (EPBC Act Decision)

Overview

Public comments are welcomed for a period of 10 business days for each referral. This process is initiated promptly following the validation and publication of the referral.

Although comments submitted after the specified comment period may be taken into consideration by the minister, it is not obligatory for them to do so.

The minister will render their decision on the referral within 20 business days after the publication of the referral.
